My MedicalDaybook, home

By invitation

Join the Beta.

Daybook works in full today. It is in Beta while it is readied for the App Store and Google Play, which means a few things may still change, and that Mark reads every message himself.

The Beta is by invitation. Whoever told you about Daybook, a nurse, a clinic, a friend or a message from Mark, gives you a short code. Type it here and the next steps appear.

No code, or lost it? Email support@mymedicaldaybook.co.uk and say who told you about Daybook. Already in someone's circle? Ask them for an invite link instead; it joins you to their circle, no code needed.

Free throughout the Beta.

When Daybook reaches the App Store, Beta circles keep the full app free for a year, with everything they have logged. Nothing is lost and nothing is asked for. You are helping make it better, and that is the thanks.

Ten minutes, once

Three steps.

  1. Create your account

Check your code above and tap Create your account in Daybook. It opens Daybook with the code filled in, in Safari on an iPhone or iPad, in Chrome on an Android phone, or in any browser on a Mac. It asks for your first name, whether Daybook is for you or someone you care for, an email address and a password.

  2. Add it to your Home Screen

This is the step people miss, and the one that makes Daybook open like an app and send medicine reminders.

iPhone or iPad: in Safari, tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen, scroll the list and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.

Android: in Chrome, tap the three dots at the top right, then Add to Home screen or Install app.

Mac: in Safari, File, then Add to Dock.

  3. Let the set-up walk you through it

Open Daybook from your Home Screen. The set-up asks what Daybook is for (cancer treatment, Crohn's or colitis, more than one if that is your life), your name on the reports, who to contact, and shows you Tap to speak. Then add your medicines under Meds, do the check-in on Today, and under More, then Settings, turn on reminders and invite the people who help.

Whenever you have a minute, the feedback button also has eight quick questions about getting started. Two minutes, no deadline, and it tells Mark more than any amount of guessing.

What the Beta is for

Tell Mark what you think.

A Provide feedback button sits at the top of Today. Tap it whenever something is confusing, wrong, or simply not what you expected, and say it in words or by voice; add a screenshot if it helps. Save it to add to later, or send it, and it goes straight to Mark with which screen you were on.

Prefer email? support@mymedicaldaybook.co.uk. Mark's phone number is inside the app, for anyone who would rather talk.

Never put anyone's health details in an email or a message unless you need to. Everything you log in Daybook stays in your circle; see the privacy policy.

Want a look round first?

The demos need no account and keep nothing: a made-up person with a month of records, cancer treatment or Crohn's or colitis.
